Walnut Valley Festival Day 1 & 2 Hard Work & Friends

My initial intent was to do daily blogs and post them from The Walnut Valley Festival in Winfield Kansas. Wireless issues kept me from doing that. I did the blogs of which I am posting the first two here. The first blog has to do with setting up camp, and the teaching is on the value of work. The second video has to do with the magnitude of the camp and the development of friendships. For those that don't know The Walnut Valley Music Festival in Winfield Kansas is the premiere Americana Music Festival in the world. Each year they host the National Flat Picking Guitar Championships, The International Autoharp Championships, The International Finger Style Championships and many more musician championships. It is also the festival that helped launch the carreers of such artists as The Dixie Chicks and Allison Kraus. It is in a word, "incredible." This year The Virtual Pew hosted a camp where prayer was offered for individuals as well as opportunity to provide various other forms of ministry to individuals. So far the week has been great, and the next listing will include the continuation of the video blogs, featuring various performers, camp players, jams and all kinds of great music, and of course, some teaching. Enjoy the first two days of the festival, and hopefully you can get the feel of it from these presentations.
